Organic
What is Organic?
According to the Certified Organic Association of British Columbia (COABC), the term organic, "describes a process of food production that avoids the use of synthetic inputs such as chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, chemical growth regulators/hormones and antibiotics". No pesticides, no growth hormones, no antibiotics, no chemicals, no artificial fertilizers. Organic respects animal welfare, the land, our environment and your health.
Why Organic?
With growing awareness about the inherent connection between diet, health, and our impact on the earth, we decided to make a commitment to producing certified organic products including yogurt, sour cream, and now fluid milk.
Products that are guaranteed free from pesticides, herbicides and other chemical substances provide you a means towards optimum health and wellness. And in this day and age of environmental concern, consider your investment not only in your health, but the health of the environment, and consider that Olympic is doing something about minimizing the carbon footprint through our commitment to natural organics, and natural ingredients. We are proud to be able to state that all of our milk supply travels no more than 60kms to our processing facility.
Organic100% Certified
All of Olympic's organic products have been certified organic by the CFIA on behalf of the Fraser Valley Organic Producers Association (FVOPA) in conjunction with the Certified Organic Association of BC.
Similarly, all of our ingredient suppliers have been third party certified organic to ensure compliance to the standards and regulations for organic products in Canada.
