Transportation is critical to the way we do business. The freshness and quality of our product, and our ultimate carbon footprint, rely on efficient transportation systems.

As a result, Olympic trucks are among the most efficient on the road.

We have introduced route logistics software to record idling time, speed, fuel consumption and brake pressure so that drivers can track their routes and make route adjustments based on efficiency. This means less fuel is consumed, less carbon is emitted, there is less congestion on our roads and we have longer-lasting trucks, which means less landfill.

And in regions of the country where the density of retailers carrying our products is lower, we partner with other suppliers to share truck space. There’s no need for two half empty trucks to be on the road when we can work together. These kind of strategic partnerships are at the core of how we do business. They are good for business, good for the community, and good for the environment.
